Speaker Terms & Conditions
Guidelines and requirements for speakers participating in Relevant Intelligence events
These Speaker Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) govern participation as a speaker at any Relevant Intelligence (“Ri”) event, whether online or in-person. By submitting to be considered as a speaker or by participating as a speaker, you (“Speaker”) agree to the following:
1. Educational Content Requirement
- Speaker agrees that all presentation content shall be educational in nature and not a sales pitch.
- Speaker may reference their company, products, or services only in the context of sharing relevant knowledge or best practices.
2. Content Usage Rights
- Speaker grants Ri a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to record, reproduce, distribute, and display Speaker’s presentation content, in whole or in part, in any media format now known or hereafter developed.
- This license includes use for marketing, promotional, educational, and archival purposes related to Ri events and community initiatives.
3. Use of Name and Assets
- Speaker grants Ri the right to use Speaker’s name, likeness, biography, company name, logo, and other digital assets in connection with the promotion, distribution, and marketing of the event and related Ri materials.
4. Ownership of Intellectual Property
- Speaker retains ownership of the intellectual property in their presentation materials.
- Speaker warrants that the content does not infringe the rights of any third party and that all necessary permissions for use of third-party materials have been obtained.
5. No Compensation
- Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Speaker’s participation is voluntary and without expectation of compensation, reimbursement, or royalties.
6. Recording & Distribution
- Ri may record the presentation (audio, video, or both) and may make such recordings available to attendees, community members, or the public at Ri’s discretion.
7. Governing Law
- This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
